Kenny G. Adams is a leader when it comes to technologyAt Kenny G. Adams, technology is the name of the game. We do our best to make appraising look easy and we believe a big part of it is our ability to increase our productivity with the newest gadgets. We use the latest technology at our disposal to bring you high quality, accurate appraisals.
While appraisal fees haven't necessarily gone up over the years, the demands placed on individual appraisers have. We put quality first, but we know that turnaround time is always a plus since nobody likes to wait for results. Therefore, we've simply optimized our routine processes to do more in less time. The appraisers that have always embraced new technology have been the ones able to use their time more effectively and bring their customers more accurate reports, better customer service and faster turnaround times.

Ordering and TrackingIn the past, most of our orders came in via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we got back to the office. Often, in this scenario, it might of taken quite a while to hear back to see if the order could be taken. Things are quite a bit different now and when an order is placed on the site, we get an e-mail on our phones. We often log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.
When you order from Kenny G. Adams you can expect us to be concerned about your deadlines. We don't make you wait around for replies because we understand the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. This website definitely reduces cycle time for us and our clients by enhancing our communications.
Using Technology in the FieldThe appraisal process is nothing if not a demanding activity. We spend a great deal of time obtaining both specific information about the subject property and general data about the local market and developing trends. Kenny G. Adams takes advantage of technology to close the gap once again.
Instead of using paper forms and pencils and then re-keying all the information back at the office, don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an app developed for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on site. Rather then using that clumsy old tape measure, a larger percentage appraisers are adopting laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.
We combine all of these different technologies to ensure that the final report is comprehensive and without error, requiring fewer call-backs and revisions. A real money saver for busy appraisal clients.
Here at Kenny G. Adams we make sure you have more ways to receive your report.Delivery of appraisals as PDF files through e-mail is definitely the standard these days. Generally our clients are most familiar with receiving PDFs attached to their e-mail. It's a lot better than the old days before e-mail. But, we've even been able to improve on e-mail with how you receive your report with this website.
Ever lost a file that was sent to you? Or have you ever had problems sending or receiving an e-mail because it was too big? We've come up with a solution for those problems, too. When we deliver an appraisal through this website, the client is e-mailed a download link to retrieve the PDF. So, at that point, it doesn't matter if all the extra photos and maps in the report result in a large file that would normally be blocked by e-mail. And the best thing is that the file will be hosted on this site for 90 days. So if anything happens to the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again without even calling us or waiting for us to get to a computer so we can send it again.
Digital Workfile TechnologyIt would probably be easier if appraisers could complete an assignment, deliver it and never be concerned with revisiting that document again. But one of the purposes of an appraisal is as a legal document outlining the condition of a property on a specific date. Therefore, appraisers must keep their reports for 5 years in case any disputes or other matters arise regarding the property.
Here again, Kenny G. Adams uses all the technology available to us technology to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we can pull up the entire file whenever it's needed and recall exactly what that assignment was about.
We just wanted to give you a little bit of insight into how we use our technology daily. Using the right tools, along with the appraisal know-how that you've grown to expect allows the appraiser to deliver reports quicker, more efficiently and with higher degrees of accuracy.
